Desiree Davis is a visual artist and rising graphic designer, born in San Diego, California but raised in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. Her passion to create art began at a very young age and only expanded throughout her life. Deeply inspired by her culture, she creates beautiful illustrations inspired by African American women and their lifestyles. Although she has taken some art courses over the years, majority of her skills have been self-taught. She has had the opportunity to provide hundreds of people all over the country with artwork and continues to do so.

She attended The University of North Carolina At Greensboro to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has since gone back to school to further her knowledge in the field of Graphic Design to help her with her with her skillset and vision for Dxpe Girl Society. Growing up she often did not see many women in certain fields or positions that looked like her for inspiration, so she created a brand to change that...

It was created to showcase the importance of black female representation within society by merging art and culture.
